ES Broadcast to make Winter Olympics broadcast acquisition equipment available for purchase

ES Broadcast is offering an array of near-new equipment for sale following the conclusion of the 2022 Winter Olympics.

The roster of equipment includes cameras, lenses, vision mixers, monitors and tripods from manufacturers including Sony, Grass Valley, Telestream, Canon and Vinten. All products include a warranty backed either by the manufacturer or by the company itself.

The equipment has run up only low usage hours, having been provided new for major sporting events over summer 2021 and winter 2022. Items are tested and subjected to a full service by specialist in-house broadcast engineers prior to sale, including any firmware updates required.

ES Broadcast Group chief executive Ben Murphy said: “We believe we are able to offer our clients unsurpassed quality, value for money and the peace of mind that they simply cannot get via other channels. Having provided this equipment new at the start of the summer sports calendar, we know the exact provenance of the equipment and that it has run up only very limited hours of use.

“We are happy to provide warranties on all equipment and in, the rare circumstances it is necessary, we can offer technical support via both our experienced in-house engineers and our manufacturer partners. Very often we can also offer loan units should it be necessary to return an item for repair, thanks to our extensive rental stock, which is one of the world’s largest, youngest and best-maintain UHD and HD fleets in the world. And this also allows us to help our clients scale up their productions when the need arises.”
