Reseller and SI ES Broadcast’s endeavours in the broadcast market were recognised last month with the presentation of Grass Valley’s Award for Outstanding Achievement in Live Production Solutions.

Ben Murphy, managing director of ES Broadcast, received the award at Grass Valley’s partner event held at IBC 2018 in Amsterdam. “I am delighted to accept this award on behalf of ES Broadcast’s dedicated and hard-working sales and systems integration teams,” said Murphy. “We are very proud of our partnership with Grass Valley, and to act as ambassadors for their innovative live production solutions, which have proven to be a perfect fit for many of our clients.”

Commending ES Broadcast’s advocacy of Grass Valley live production technology, Greg de Bressac, Grass Valley’s global head of channel sales, explained: “This award targets our largest solutions area – and what the brand is really known for the world over. We chose ES Broadcast not only for its performance in terms of sales in this area, but also for the way the company exemplifies the engaging, competitive, dynamic and proactive behaviour that Grass Valley values in its channel partnerships.”

In recent months, ES Broadcast has successfully recommended Grass Valley’s live production technology for a number of significant projects delivered by the company’s systems integration team. These include two Korona UHD-capable vision mixers as part of a 4K PPU solution built for AV/live events company Creative Technology, as well as multiviewer upgrades for The Hospital Club Studios in London.

Meanwhile, an NVISION 8500 Series hybrid video router, Kahuna 9600 vision mixer and KMX multiviewers were installed during an OB truck upgrade ES Broadcast carried out for Telegenic. In addition, NVISION 8500 Series video routers, Pyxis audio routers, KMX multiviewers and Grass Valley distribution amplifiers and glue are also being installed in three new OB trucks currently in progress for horse-racing services provider RaceTech.
