ESL’s reach across the globe is a massive one. And, after multiple ESL One events were unfurled during its 2019 calendar, the eSports entity is gearing up for next year’s action at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo with the Intel World Open.
At the SVG Esports Production Summit on 19 November in Los Angeles, our US chief editor Jason Dachman spoke with Simon Eicher, executive producer/director, broadcast, esports services, ESL Gaming, about the company’s activity over the past year, the recent expansion into mobile gameplay, and what other endeavours are on the horizon in the next 12 months.
