Euro Media Group announces new chief exec

The Euro Media Group, which operates OB and studio facilities across Europe, has appointed a new chief executive. Thierry Drilhon succeeds Chantal Barry, who retains a shareholding in the company and will continue to be involved as a consultant.

A graduate of Stanford University Drilhon has worked for Microsoft France and most recently Cisco. Since taking up his new role with Euro Media, Drilhon has visited Euro Media’s German OB, post-production and studios subsidiary, nobeo.

Stefan Hoff, manager of nobeo, says the company will benefit from Drilhon’s strategic vision for the Euro Media Group: “Our clearly stated target is and remains to cement the position of Germany as a valuable location within the European TV market and to continue developing and providing comprehensive and attractive services, both domestically and abroad.”
