EUROMEDIA reaches new heights in winter sports coverage
Technical services provider EUROMEDIA has signed key contracts to provide coverage of a large number of winter sports. It has just concluded a deal with Infront Italy to cover all World Cup skiing events held in France over the next four years.
EUROMEDIA will draw on its human and technical resources to produce, for the first time, the events organised by the FIS (International Ski Federation). They include Men’s and Women’s Alpine Skiing World Cup competition at Val d’Isère (Critérium de la première neige – first snow event of the season); Women’s Alpine Skiing World Cup competition at Courchevel; Nordic combined World Cup at La Clusaz and Chaux-neuve; and Cross-Country World Cup at Megève and Val Thorens
Lionel Vialaneix, Chairman of EUROMEDIA warmly welcomed these new developments saying, “I grew up on the ski slopes of Serre Chevalier and I am delighted with the agreement that we signed for the various ski events. It will be very rewarding to see the deployment of EUROMEDIA cameras on the slopes and moreover, for several years to come.”
