EVS to provide HBS with live production and replay kit for World Cup 2022

EVS has secured a major contract with Host Broadcast Services (HBS) that will see the company provide live production and replay equipment for broadcast coverage of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The deal covers the delivery of a turnkey solution consisting of all broadcast equipment and services required to provide Live Replay facilities for all the venues, including the International Broadcast Center (IBC).

The broadcast equipment to be supplied by EVS includes the live production and replay solution LiveCeption as well as its live production asset management solution MediaCeption.

FIFA World Cup 2022 takes place in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 18 2022.
