FFT, Whisper, HBS and Orange to speak at SVG Europe’s France Forum

Speakers on stage at last year’s France Summit

Speakers from the French Tennis Federation (FFT), Whisper, HBS and Orange will take part in SVG Europe’s France Forum, which will be held in Paris on Wednesday 15 October.

The annual event brings together France’s broadcasting and production community for panel discussions, presentations and networking, focusing on current developments in technology and workflows.

All sessions will be conducted in French. This year, the forum will be hosted and moderated by sports media specialist Sébastien Audoux.

Networking at last year’s event in Paris

The first panel, Inside the Production of Roland-Garros, will review 2025’s tournament, the first to be produced by Whisper as host broadcaster.

The session will cover the creation of the “international super signal” world feed, which included live coverage from all 16 courts, and consider how production teams are adapting coverage for new viewing habits.

Topics include digital-first storytelling, reaching younger audiences, and the use of data and graphics to support coverage.

Speakers are Amandine Tyl, FFT Head of Production and Broadcast Services, and Sebastian Tiffert, Whisper Account Director. The session will also be chaired by Sébastien Audoux.

A second panel, The Future of Sports Tech, will look at technology trends likely to shape sports broadcasting in the coming years. Panellists include Etienne Godart, HBS Head of Live Broadcast Solutions, and Nicolas Deal, CTO of Orange Sports & Media.

The programme will also feature case studies from TVU Networks and Tata Communications Media. Additional speakers will be announced next week.
