First speakers confirmed and registration open for Sports Venue and Fan Engagement Summit

Paul Brislin, Arup, Director and Architect

SVG Europe and PanStadia are delighted to confirm the first speakers for their Sports Venue and Fan Engagement Summit, which will take place during ISE on 8 February 2018. A full-day summit with multiple networking opportunities, Sports Venue and Fan Engagement Summit will feature panels and presentations from leading broadcasters, stadia operators, sports club executives, architects, service providers and specialist consultants and offer plenty of networking opportunities.

For the ‘Stadiums Present and Future: Design Trends and Operational Changes’ panel – which will explore how understanding the requirements of modern sports venues and designing them to be adaptable and flexible is key to ensuring that they meet the differing expectations of operators, sports people and spectators alike – moderator and PanStadia & Arena Management Editor John Sheehan will be joined by Peter Ayres (AECOM, Director Buildings + Places) and Paul Brislin (Arup, Director and Architect), with more panellists to be announced shortly.

Panellists for the ‘New Initiatives to Engage with Fans and Maximise Revenue Streams’ panel – in which participants will share their experiences and opinions on initiatives to enhance the game day experience and increase fan loyalty while maximising the ability to generate new revenue streams and enhance existing ones – will include James Middling (Mott MacDonald, Global Head of Sports and Events), with more to be confirmed shortly.

Meanwhile, the first panellist to be confirmed for the somewhat self-explanatory ‘Get Yourself Connected: IP Networking and the Stadium of the Future’ panel is Andreas Hildebrand, who is Senior Product Manager and Evangelist at ALC NetworX.

Registration for the Sports Venue and Fan Engagement Summit is now open at https://www.svgeurope.org/sports-venue-fan-engagement-2018/programme/.
