Football Summit 2020: Sky Sport News HD presenter Katharina Kleinfeldt to host Berlin event

Sky Germany’s Katharina Kleinfeldt will be the host when SVG Europe’s Football Summit 2020 rolls into Berlin on 31 March. 

The Sky Sport News HD and Handball Bundesliga Konferenz presenter will open proceedings and link the day’s sessions as well as conducting an interview or two along the way. 

Kleinfeldt has been at Sky for four and a half years, in various roles.

Discussing Football Summit 2020, she said: “So what’s next in our sports TV business? How will broadcast innovations change our television experience and therefore our daily work? I am already very excited about all the new impressions I will get at the Football Summit 2020. I am totally happy to be part of it!”

Taking place at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on Tuesday 31 March, Football Summit 2020 will cover a range of subjects from broadcast innovation in the Bundesliga and video asset management through to the growth of the Women’s game and football production on a budget.

As with all SVG Europe events, Football Summit 2020 will also feature ample networking opportunities, a technology showcase and an optional stadium tour.

In addition, this year’s event will also include a special morning session dedicated to eSports and pre-event networking on the evening of Monday 30 March.
