Football Summit 2022: Flagship SVG Europe event to take place in London on Thursday 10 March

Registration is now open for SVG Europe’s Football Summit 2022, sponsored by EVS, will is taking place in London on 10 March.

The rescheduled event, originally planned for Paris, will be held at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, one of the most technically advanced football grounds in the world.

The decision to move the event was taken by SVG Europe to allow as many members and sponsors as possible to attend our first face-to-face event of 2022.

SVG Europe general manager Joe Hosken said: “While the situation around the pandemic and travel in France is starting to ease, it was felt that this was not the optimum time to hold an event there. To ensure that people can plan their travel and accommodation with as much confidence as possible, a UK-based event is better suited to the situation in the short term.”

SVG Europe plans to hold a one-day summit in Paris during the first half of this year. More details on this will follow shortly.

As well as previewing broadcast plans for major football tournaments and leagues, Football Summit 2022 will look at how we can continue to augment the beautiful game and examine the ever-evolving role that statistics and data play in match coverage and presentation.
