Football Summit 2025: Production Workshops strand to offer practical and actionable advice during 20 March event in Manchester

Capturing and distributing high-quality football match coverage when budgets are tight is a focus of one of three Production Workshops taking place during Football Summit 2025, sponsored by EVS.

Designed to run alongside the main conference programme, the Production Workshops will provide practical advice, tips and tricks, and guidance on the tools and techniques required for producing and distributing effective football output.

Sponsored by Haivision, the ‘Cost Effective Football Coverage’ workshop is for clubs, broadcast and digital rights holders, and small, niche, and new leagues.

Attendees will learn about affordable production and distribution solutions, get help maximising streaming platforms and social media, receive advice on leveraging partnerships to offset costs, and hear suggestions on how to make money go further, including efficient ways to use graphics and data.

The speakers will be: Jack McGill, QTV, CEO; Alex Dowling, Wheelchair Football Association, CIO; and Jacob Larsson, NEP Norway, Technical Manager, alongside a representative of Haivision.

There are also workshops on ‘Sustainable football coverage’, sponsored by EMG/Gravity Media, and ‘Directing Live Football’, with LaLiga lead director Òscar Lago Domínguez taking part in the latter.

The Production Workshops take place in the 93:20 Lounge at the Etihad Stadium, which is adjacent to the Summit’s networking and exhibition area, and a 2-minute walk from the Legends Lounge where the main conference will take place.
