France Forum 2025: WBD, HBS and Orange join tech trends panel

Speakers from Warner Bros. Discovery, HBS, and Orange will discuss the latest technology trends at SVG Europe’s upcoming France Forum.

Taking place in Paris on Wednesday, 15 October, the France Forum offers the local broadcast and production community an opportunity to gather for an evening of panel discussions, presentations, and networking focused on the latest developments in technology, workflows, and more.

The Future of Sports Tech panel will feature Emmanuel Jacky, Engineering Director, WBD (pictured, right); Etienne Godart, Head of Live Broadcast Solutions, HBS; and Nicolas Deal, CTO, Orange Sports & Media.

Moderated by sports media specialist Sébastien Audoux, the discussion will cover topics ranging from remote and centralised production to AI-driven workflows – exploring how the future of sports technology is transforming the fan experience.

The panel will bring together leading experts to examine key innovations reshaping sports broadcasting, from software-based and open-standard solutions to the rise of generative and agentic AI in production environments.

In addition, Amandine Tyl, FFT Head of Production and Broadcast Services, and Sebastian Tiffert, Whisper Account Director, will take part in the Inside the Production of Roland-Garros panel, which will review the 2025 tournament, which was the first to be produced by Whisper as host broadcaster.

A case study from TVU will also highlight how the French Football Federation (FFF) has evolved from a traditional sports federation into a major media producer, tripling its audience in just two years and how it now manages the production of more than 600 events annually, including D1 Féminine, National 3, and the France U23 teams.

All sessions will be conducted in French.
