Front Porch Digital debuts digital storage tools

Front Porch Digital will introduce several new developments in the DIVASolutions product line to the European market, including the DIVApublish mpx online publishing tool, SAMMAsolo HD video migration tool, and DIVAdirector V4.2 media asset management system.

DIVApublish mpx Online Publishing Tool

DIVApublish mpx delivers media in a simple, streamlined fashion through an integrated workflow. The publishing tool distributes content to multiple locations and devices, and integrates with adware, syndication, analytics, and content delivery. This integrated distribution allows content owners to make critical decisions in selection and placement and grow their audience in new media channels.

DIVApublish mpx is fully integrated with Front Porch Digital’s DIVArchive and DIVAdirector content storage management (CSM) systems. This extends the digital file-based workflow beyond the enterprise and into distribution channels.

SAMMAsolo HD Video Migration Tool

The SAMMAsolo HD migration tool is based on the newly patented SAMMA technology, and performs real-time, quality-controlled migration of content from HD videotape into a secure managed digital environment. The migration tool enables broadcasters, heritage institutions, and other enterprises to preserve and make use of their legacy assets. SAMMAsolo migration tools combine hardware and software to move archive-quality content from videotape to multiple file formats in a single pass. SAMMAsolo automates repetitive steps and uses advanced signal analysis to evaluate the quality of the videotape and to monitor and document the migration itself.

DIVAdirector V4.2 Media Asset Management System

DIVAdirector enables operators, using their Web browsers, to search, locate, and retrieve stored media assets directly from their desktops. V4.2 adds a revamped browser interface, support for identification and retrieval of clips with noncontiguous timecode, partial-restore format auto-detection, and management of remote proxies without the need for their replication specifically for DIVAdirector. In addition, DIVAdirector V4.2 integrates with Front Porch Digital’s compact, turnkey SAMMA Solo system.
