Euro Media Group (EMG) has announced the acquisition of leading RF service supplier Broadcast RF (BRF). The purchase consolidates EMG’s leadership in providing RF solutions for major events around the world.

With its subsidiaries EurolinX and Euro Media France RF, EMG’s technical expertise and extended experience in sports allows the group to be the bespoke partner in high quality services in long range RF provision for large international events, including the Monaco Grand Prix, the Tour de France, and the Olympic Games.

Broadcast RF is a leading source of high quality, RF technology for use in the making of television programs, covering sports, news and light entertainment events. The company has established itself as the first choice for many large worldwide events such as the FIFA World Cup, the Six Nations Rugby tournament, the Ryder Cup and the Open Golf Championships, as well as major international news and entertainment coverage.

This latest acquisition strengthens EMG’s commitment within RF and specialist services while continuing to provide a wide range of innovative solutions to clients. With a strong and established footprint in Europe, this development is an opportunity for the Group to address the UK RF market as well as increasing EMG’s worldwide visibility.
