FutureSPORT 2019: DAZN and NEP to discuss a global virtual production platform

SVG Europe is delighted to announce it has added a session featuring DAZN and NEP to the FutureSPORT programme on 26 November at Chelsea FC. This session will feature Daragh Bass, NEP Media Solutions head of sales; Claire Da Silva, DAZN VP production operations; and James Pearce, DAZN head of global engineering.

Together with moderator Fergal Ringrose, editorial director at SVG Europe, they will discuss a transformational collaborative project, based on a centralised production concept, whereby virtualised and remote production technologies are centrally located – requiring only a lightweight footprint in the remote location.

This facilitates the cross-sharing of facilities across multiple productions and remote locations. It’s a technological and commercial model that is agile, scalable and efficient in terms of utilisation of resources.

FutureSPORT 2019 will take place at Chelsea FC’s Stamford Bridge stadium in London on Tuesday 26 November. The conference will pay particular attention to contribution and distribution within sports broadcasting, featuring the event tagline ‘Transporting Your Content’.

As with all SVG Europe events, there will be plenty of networking opportunities throughout FutureSPORT 2019 and delegates will also get the chance to take part in a guided tour of Stamford Bridge.

Registration for FutureSPORT closes today (12 November 2019). To find out more about the event visit https://www.svgeurope.org/future-sport-2019
