In conversation with broadcaster and journalist Natalie Quirk, Sky Sports’ Jo Finon and BBC Sport’s Narinder Ball discuss the ‘real world’ benefits and challenges of doing remote production, taking into consideration budgets, environmental sustainability and the work-life balance for crews and ops.
“[Remote production] can mean the budget goes further because we’re not sending as many people to the site but the bigger thing these days is the sustainability. It’s not necessarily always the cheaper option. It’s actually will it be more sustainable?”
