FutureSPORT 2024: Gen AI – What we know, what we don’t know and what we need to understand better

As Generation AI evolves, organisations are exploring how AI tools can create value and drive efficiency. While the potential is immense, the path to adoption is still unclear.

At FutureSPORT 2024, held at The All England Lawn Tennis Club in London in October, a panel featuring Pete Leone, Veritone, sales director for media, entertainment and sports; Saleha Williams, SW Inc, CEO; Darren Long, media consultant; and Neil Ralph, AWS, principal industry specialist media & entertainment, games and sports, examined the needs of sports production and broadcasting organisations, and where and how Gen AI is being applied. They also discussed key challenges and practical considerations for further adoption.
