FutureSPORT 2024: Wimbledon execs join speaker lineup for 23 October event

Paul Davies, associate director, broadcast, production & media rights, All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC), and Georgina Green, broadcast & production manager, AELTC, are the latest speakers to be confirmed for FutureSPORT 2024, taking place at the AELTC in London on 23 October and sponsored by TATA Comms Media.

In ‘New balls please: Tech and Editorial Innovation at The Championships, Wimbledon’, the Wimbledon Broadcast Services team will be joined by selected production partners and rights holders to showcase current and future innovations for coverage of the tennis Championships at the AELTC.

They join previously announced speaker Matt Samuel, Formula E Post‑Production Manager, who will be part of a panel exploring the pros and cons of cloud production now and in the future.

Melissa Lawton, SailGP Chief Content Officer, is set to discuss the broadcast and media innovation being deployed on coverage of the upcoming season of the international sailing competition, and Anders Raden-Rygaard, Head of Commercial, DF (Divisionsforeningen), will join a panel of experts delving into personalisation, engagement, gamification, immersion, interactivity and other viewing experiences for live sports, sharing their opinions on where we are now, what works and where the industry goes next.

Attendees will also be able to enjoy a tour of the AELTC grounds, courts and the Wimbledon Broadcast Centre, as well as plenty of opportunities for networking.
