FutureSPORT 2025: YouTube head of UK sports to deliver fan engagement-focused keynote

Jonny Keogh, head of UK sports at YouTube, will deliver a keynote entitled ‘How YouTube is driving a new era of fan engagement’ at FutureSPORT 2025. The event, sponsored by Tata Communications Media, is taking place at the Amex Stadium in Brighton on 6 November.

In this special presentation, Keogh will reveal how the platform is evolving from a distribution channel to an innovation hub for sports content, driving the next generation of sports engagement and monetisation. With fans craving interactivity, authenticity and immediacy, he’ll explore how sports federations, leagues, associations, clubs and broadcasters are using YouTube’s ecosystem, from live streaming to Shorts, to grow audiences, deepen loyalty and generate new revenue streams. Expect strategic insights, practical tips, and a look ahead at YouTube’s newest tools for fan connection and brand activation.

In addition to sessions focused on how sports content will be created, distributed and consumed in the coming years, FutureSPORT will also feature workshops on anti-piracy/content protection and MAM, along with a tour of the Amex Stadium, and both a networking lunch and post-event networking drinks.
