Genelec goes for Gold again with SVG Europe
Genelec has renewed its Gold Sponsorship of SVG Europe, citing its high profile networking events as a key benefit.
Lars-Olof Janflod, strategy advisory officer at Genelec, commented: “At Genelec we find our sponsorship with SVG Europe rewarding due to the high profile networking events that are offered, as well as interesting conferences and presentations of what is going on in the world of sports broadcasting. From this we can learn what to do next in terms of products, and more.”
He continued: “Genelec has been in business since 1978 designing and manufacturing monitoring loudspeakers and although nowadays it finds its customers in several different market segments, broadcasting is its core business from where we originated and thus it’s a natural thing for us to be a SVG Europe sponsor.”
Earlier this week Genelec announced that its Smart Active Monitors, including the high-SPL S360 two-way model, are at the heart of two new Dolby Atmos Home Entertainment certified rooms at Telson.Tres60 studios in Madrid, the first in Spain to have been certified by Dolby.
