Job of the Week: Digital and Direct Marketing Advisor, CWC15

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 is cricket’s premier flagship event, and will be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand across 14 cities over seven weeks in February and March next year. To ensure the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 sets a world class benchmark in sporting event delivery across the two nations, organisers have built a team of leading professionals in Melbourne (Australia) and Wellington (New Zealand), who will shape this world-class sporting event throughout the full lifecycle.

Reporting into the Marketing Manager, there is now an opportunity for a digital and direct marketing advisor to join the team. This role will plan, test, deliver and monitor cross-channel direct and email marketing campaigns in line with the overall marketing strategy, ensuring that marketing collateral remains relevant to all fans.

Working closely with the Ticketing Sales team, the successful applicant will utilise their segmentation and database marketing skills to conceptualise campaigns, from planning to automation stage. Specific skills should include Photoshop, HTML, CMS coding and MS Excel, while applicants must also be well-versed in mobile optimisation and deliverability testing.
