Job of the Week: Digital and Direct Marketing Executive, CWC15

CWC15 is cricket’s premier flagship event, which will be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand in February and March 2015.

To ensure the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 sets a world class benchmark in sporting event delivery across the two nations, the organisers have built a team of leading professionals in Melbourne, Australia, and Wellington, New Zealand, who will shape this world-class sporting event throughout the full lifecycle.

Reporting into the Marketing Manager, the organisers now have an opportunity for a digital and direct marketing executive to join the team. The successful candidate will plan, test, deliver and monitor cross-channel direct and email marketing campaigns in line with the overall marketing strategy, ensuring that marketing collateral remains relevant to all fans.

Working closely with the Ticketing Sales team, the digital marketing executive will utilise their segmentation and database marketing skills to conceptualise campaigns – from planning to execution and reporting. Skills should include Photoshop, HTML, CMS coding and MS Excel. It is also important to be well-versed in mobile optimisation, deliverability testing and email marketing best practice.
