Job of the Week: IPC Live Video Clipping Co-ordinator (SnappyTV)

Every week SVG Europe and join forces to bring you details of a new, much sought-after employment opportunity in sports broadcasting and related disciplines. This week’s role – live video clipping coordinator for the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) during 2016 Paralympic Games – is a voluntary position and is based in Rio, Brazil.

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is the global governing body of the Paralympic Movement. The IPC supervises the organisation of the Summer and Winter Paralympic Games, and serves as International Federation for 10 sports.

The IPC is committed to enabling Paralympic athletes to achieve sporting excellence and to developing sport opportunities for all persons with an impairment from the beginner to elite level. The IPC aims to make for a more inclusive society for people with an impairment through para-sport and promotes the Paralympic values, which include courage, determination, inspiration and equality.

The successful candidate for the role of IPC live video clipping co-ordinator will: clip sport footage from the live stream; post it to social media; and inform the editing team about major moments so that they can be incorporated into daily highlights.
