The WCF, the Olympic Winter Sport Federation for Curling, is looking to appoint a new member of staff to lead its work in integrating IT and new media into the organisation.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role and will have strong written English language skills as well as a good command of MS Office and experience of website management, including website programming and design. A basic understanding of curling and interest in the sport would be helpful. Experience engaging with Social Media is essential.
The main aim of the post is to support the work of the events and media teams at WCF events and to improve the public profile of the World Curling Federation through its online presence and use of social media to a level where the WCF can take full advantage of its position as a major sport in the Winter Olympic programme.
