Every week GlobalSportsJobs.com and SVG Europe join forces to bring you details of a new, much sought-after employment opportunity in sports broadcast and related disciplines. This week’s role is a full-time producer position based at BT Sport’s complex in Stratford, London.

More specifically, the Football Department requires a producer to work on both live matches and support programming across its portfolio of football properties, including the forthcoming exclusive rights to the UEFA Champions League.

The producer role will provide a range of support for the executive producer, while managing a team of assistant producers, production juniors and any studio/on-site staff. The role is directly responsible for producing live programming for BT Sport, either from studio or on-location, and other programming as required.

The producer will be responsible for all content for assigned shows, in which capacity they will lead production meetings, be responsible for programme formats, and ensure the programme content is covered in an accurate and entertaining fashion. The producer will work with all programme talent to drive the content of the programmes.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible in their thought processes to not only demonstrate creativity, but to be able to adjust to developing stories in a live environment.
