This week’s role – based in Madrid – is to lead the sponsorship new business acquisition process for the NBA in Spain, focusing on prospecting, pitching, negotiating and securing new marketing partners.

Major responsibilities of the role will include consultation with both multinational and domestic-based companies to determine their marketing objectives and present, deliver and sell integrated programmes that will meet these objectives. These programmes will include rights and assets across media, digital marketing and events.

Among the specific duties: development and implementation of a sponsorship sales strategy for the acquisition of new marketing partners in Spain; leading the sales process to engage with potential sponsors at a senior decision-making level; and targeting and selling NBA marketing partnerships to a broad range of relevant prospects.
