The RFU is the national governing body for grassroots and elite rugby in England, with 1,900 autonomous rugby clubs in its membership. The clubs are grouped within 35 Constituent Bodies (CBs).

The RFU is currently seeking a technology director who will be responsible for leading technology strategy and delivery for the RFU, setting the strategic direction for the provision, procurement and management of technology platforms required to support the RFU. The role holder will ensure that the organisation has the technology solutions, including digital platforms, that it needs to operate effectively, and which support and achieve its business strategy. The technology director will have responsibility for developing and inspiring a high performing, creative and flexible technology team which enables the organisation to deliver its strategic plan and dynamically support the business well into the future.
