This week’s role is a full-time Lausanne, Switzerland-based position as television sales and distribution director at Boxing Marketing Arm (BMA).

The International Boxing Association (AIBA) is a non-profit making international organization which, with its 196 national member federations, governs the sport of boxing in all of its forms worldwide. It works for the benefit of the sport and all its participants to help boxing realise its potential within the Olympic Movement and the international sporting arena.

The Boxing Marketing Arm SA (BMA) is the exclusive marketing company of AIBA and is now seeking a television sales and distribution director. The successful candidate will develop and lead the TV Sales and Distribution Department, and execute the long-term strategy of the department with sustainable and operational excellence.

Chief responsibilities of the role will include: achieving target TV sales revenues for all AIBA properties – AIBA Open Boxing, AIBA Pro Boxing and World Series of Boxing; developing media sales and distribution strategies for each property; developing the media business in worldwide markets, mainly North/Latin America, Central & Eastern Europe and Asia; securing and managing TV agencies or partners to sell and distribute TV media rights on behalf of BMA; ensuring high quality TV production standards, and working closely with BMA TV and event production for cost-effective and high quality production and event operations; and recruiting and managing overall performance and co-ordination of all members of the TV Sales and Distribution Department.
