Global Sports and Media Group, the owners of GlobalSportsJobs – the leading specialist digital media and talent platform for the international sports industry that furnishes SVG Europe with a weekly high-profile job listing – have revealed details of the new Chinese-English platform,, developed specifically for the fast-developing Asian sports market.

The new bespoke platform will allow local, regional and international sports organisations greater access to talent in one of the fastest-growing sports markets. Founding partners of the new platform include The Hong Kong Jockey Club, The NBA, Infront Sports & Media, The Hong Kong Sports Institute and LeTV.

The Asian-Pacific region has experienced rapid growth over recent years, with future growth being fuelled by major events such as the 2018 IOC Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, the 2019 IRB Rugby World Cup in Japan and the IOC Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020.

Despite the region’s focus on raising awareness, participation and success at elite level and the continued investment in the sports agenda, capability gaps still exist in the local markets, foremost amongst which is the ability to attract a greater diversity and quality of talent to support these long-term goals.

The launch of is intended to meet this strategic need. The new platform, the first of its kind in the Asian market, will host a wide range of sports industry job opportunities from entry level to senior management positions, and will deliver career intelligence, market insights and a greater understanding of the regional industry.
