GoPro capturing X Games Tignes previews for ESPN broadcast

Camera and content producer GoPro is serving as the official camera sponsor of X Games Tignes, which commences today and runs through until Friday (22 March). Teaming the HERO3 camera with its top athletes, GoPro will produce a variety of content to be broadcast by ESPN, Extreme Sports Channel and the GoPro Network.

Content will include GoPro Course Previews, which will show viewers the competition from the athletes’ perspectives. The compact size and mount-anywhere design of the GoPro HERO3 camera will allow ESPN, Extreme Sports Channel and GoPro to visually immerse fans in the experience of the X Games.

GoPro’s athletes competing in the 2013 European Winter X Games Tignes include: (snowboard) Eric Willett (Slopestyle), Iouri Podladchikov (SuperPipe), Hannah Teter (SuperPipe, alternate), Sage Kotsenburg (Slopestyle), Jamie Anderson (Slopestyle); and (ski) Grete Eliassen (Slopestyle, alternate), Tom Wallisch (Slopestyle), Tanner Hall (SuperPipe, alternate), Tucker Perkins (SuperPipe) and Kaya Turski (Slopestyle).
