Grass Valley and ES Broadcast host HDR in live production discussion forum

ES Broadcast and Grass Valley are pairing up on 19 May at Wembley Stadium for an HDR in live production discussion forum and networking event.

The event will not only focus on the crucial challenges around implementing and delivering HDR content in a live environment, but will also look at how HDR can drive audience engagement. This will be an opportunity to talk to industry leaders, manufacturers and peers about making the step to HDR, the companies said.

Panellists include HDR experts from Grass Valley as well as ES Broadcast’s technology specialists, who can call upon a combined 50 years’ experience of delivering technological advances into the live production sector to help address any questions visitors may have.

There will also be chance to discover more about the technology underpinning HDR workflows, with a showcase of products from our partner sponsors, including Grass Valley’s LDX 86N camera channel, creative grading panel and Kahuna vision mixer.

Canon will be showing UHD broadcast lenses and HDR broadcast monitors, while Aoto will demonstrate its innovative Mini LED video wall technology.

Mark Roberts Motion Control will be showing its PTA-1 robotic arm and Vinten will also be in attendance with a selection of pedestal and support solutions.

The event begins at 15:00, with discussion sessions from 15:30, followed by plenty of time for networking and socialising. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.

Attendance is free but visitors need to register by 17:00 on Thursday 5 March due to the venue’s security requirements. Click here for more.
