Global media production, creative service and facilities company Gravity Media is now a Gold sponsor of SVG Europe.
The combined businesses of EMG and Gravity Media announced they would operate under the Gravity Media banner earlier this year, following a merger in January 2024. Since then, the organisation has worked on some of the biggest sporting events of the year, including providing the full technical infrastructure and operational expertise for the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
Its fully electric 19T tender vehicle (eTSV1) has also successfully completed its first six months of operation and is playing a key supporting role in its supply of broadcasting facilities for the 2025/26 English Premier League season, as well as making its debut at the Women’s Super League this month.
Gravity Media was also instrumental in introducing a four-point Spidercam on a golf course — on the 18th green of the 153rd Open Championship. The first for golf saw a Spidercam Pro System outfitted with a Sony P43 camera and a Canon CJ12 lens delivering never before seen shots.
Looking ahead and the plan is to strengthen the group’s creative and facilities offerings, grow its global presence and “provide even more value and better solutions for our clients”, according to Gravity Media executive chairman and chief executive John Newton.
