Gravity Media has launched Studio W12 at its Production Centre in White City, London.
Studio W12 is the latest addition to the company’s London Production Centre, expanding a production ecosystem that spans the content workflow from capture through to delivery.
The facility combines studio space, connectivity and production services to support broadcast, streaming and corporate content production within a single site. Located in White City, the studio is positioned within one of London’s media and technology hubs and is intended to support access for clients, talent and production crews.
The 160 sqm green screen studio also supports Gravity Media’s wider content initiatives, including its in-house Format Lab, which develops and produces original formats for international broadcasters and streaming platforms.

Gravity Media said the launch was intended to address growing demand for operational efficiency, scalability and flexibility as production workflows become increasingly hybrid. The company said consolidating production services within a single environment could reduce complexity associated with using multiple vendors and locations.
“Studio W12 is a key milestone in our continued investment in our London Production Centre,” said Jamie Hindhaugh (pictured above with Angela Gibbons, director UK sales), CEO of Gravity Media’s UK, USA, Australia and Middle East Operations.
“With its addition, our London facility now offers a complete production environment, bringing together every stage of the content journey in a one-stop-shop. It represents the final piece in our overall offering, making production simpler for our clients while providing a highly adaptable space built to handle everything from complex live broadcasts to fast-turnaround content.”
Studio W12 includes 24-hour operational capability, allowing productions to be scheduled and delivered continuously. Integrated galleries and production infrastructure are designed to support faster production setup and delivery.
The facility is connected through Gravity Media’s master control room infrastructure, enabling content routing between studios, control rooms and international destinations to support distributed production workflows and remote collaboration.
The studio has been designed to support a range of production requirements, including broadcast, live production, corporate filming, branded content and podcasts. It supports both live and pre-recorded workflows and integrates with on-site production and post-production facilities. Depending on production requirements, the studio can also accommodate an audience of around 100 people.
Gravity Media said customers would have access to its creative and technical teams, while the centralised production model was intended to reduce logistical complexity and minimise reliance on international travel.
Studio W12 forms part of the company’s wider sustainability initiatives. Gravity Media said the building operates on renewable energy and includes measures to reduce waste and improve resource efficiency. The London Production Centre has also completed a TAP audit as part of the TAP Activator Scheme.
The studio was built around broadcast-grade infrastructure and supports UHD and HD production, large-scale control room workflows, replay operations, graphics and integrated communications. The IP-based infrastructure enables integration across studios and control rooms for both live and pre-recorded production. The facility has also been designed to allow rapid reconfiguration between production setups.
The studio is supported by Gravity Media’s camera, graphics and technical production teams and is intended to support collaboration between in-house production staff and external creative partners.
The addition of Studio W12 expands Gravity Media’s studio operations across broadcast, live and corporate production. The London Production Centre also provides on-site support services including audience handling, set storage and integrated production services.
Studio W12 forms part of Gravity Media’s wider global studio network, which includes facilities in Australia, Belgium, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.
