Gravity Media’s passion for esports continues at Extreme Masters Katowice

Gravity Media supported ESL’s coverage of the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Katowice on-site at the Spodek Arena in Poland.

With $1,000,000 up for grabs at the tournament, the Gravity Media esports team facilitated the broadcast, providing technical facilities on-site across two locations and successfully integrating them into ESL’s facilities. Ensuring the seamless broadcast of the Hall of Heroes, Gravity Media was on-site and responsible for the remote operations.

The legendary esports tournament commenced on 1 February and saw 24 of the world’s best Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) teams compete for the winning title, a share of the prize money, and a point in the Grand Slam.

The final weekend of the tournament saw international fans gather to celebrate the premium CS:GO competition, where G2 Esports claimed the coveted Championship title.

Solène Zavagno, Gravity Media’s general manager in France, commented: “We are delighted to continue working with ESL on their prestigious events across the globe. The IEM Katowice tournament provided another fantastic opportunity, on-site delivering another thrilling esports tournament. We look forward to the next tournament later this month.”

The next stop sees Gravity Media head to Malta for the ESL Pro League tournament, taking place at the end of February.
