Greenfly joins SVG Europe as a Bronze sponsor
Real-time digital media distribution specialist Greenfly has joined SVG Europe as a Bronze sponsor. The company’s software platform and mobile app enable organisations of all sizes to manage digital media operations and end-to-end workflows. Users can capture, organise and automatically deliver digital media assets to athletes, hosts, talent, partners, sponsors and rights-holding broadcasters.
Sports organisations can use Greenfly to distribute short-form content to broadcasters, staff, sponsors, teams and athletes. At events, live content creators and photographers can capture content and upload it to Greenfly. Content can also be automatically fed in from licensed media services such as Getty images or editing suites like WSC Sports, Grabyo, or Wildmoka.
Greenfly automatically organises these assets using AI, which identifies the subject of every image and video. Tagged assets are automatically shared with the appropriate broadcasters, teams, athletes, sponsors and staff based on media rights, timing and subject.
Recent clients include MLB, NBA, Bundesliga and Paris St-Germain.
TV broadcasters and streaming services can use Greenfly to deliver digital media to their hosts, helping them build their audiences on digital channels and driving tune-in for live and pre-recorded programming. ESPN, NBC Sports, DAZN, CBS Sports and more have all utilised the Greenfly platform.
“Greenfly is excited to be a part of SVG Europe and work more closely with the leaders in broadcasting,” said Tom Kuhr, chief marketing officer, Greenfly. “Our partnerships with some of the world’s biggest sports rights-holders and major broadcasters have woven digital media into the fabric of live sports. Short-form content is quickly becoming the primary driver of fan engagement. We look forward to collaborating with SVG Europe members to continue to evolve short-form content capabilities and create new agile digital workflows to deliver the most immersive and engaging content to fans, wherever they are.”
