Harris Broadcast expands European sales team

Harris Broadcast has announced the appointment of Viktor Tatai as regional sales manager within its European regional operation. Tatai will focus on the company’s eastern and central European operations.

Reporting to Harris Broadcast’s director of Nordic and central Europe, Stefan Weidner, this appointment underlines the consistent growth that the company is experiencing throughout the European region.

Viktor Tatai comes to Harris Broadcast with a track record of success in this regional market, selling technically sophisticated products through sales channels as well as directly to major broadcast customers. Prior to joining Harris Broadcast, Tatai worked for Chyron Germany ,where he held a similar position, and before that Studiotech in Hungary.

“We are experiencing consistent growth throughout Europe and especially in the central and eastern European regional markets, so we need additional resources and Viktor is a valuable addition to our team,” comments Mathias Eckert, vice president, sales and services, Europe & Africa for Harris Broadcast. “We need to support our customer base in order to help them to implement their business development strategies.
