Hitomi renews Bronze SVG Europe sponsorship

Hitomi, known for its Matchbox lip sync and latency measurement solutions, has renewed its Bronze sponsorship of SVG Europe.

This year saw Hitomi expand its Matchbox ecosystem with Matchbox Software solutions. The key innovation driving MatchBox Software solutions is probe technology – measurement points that function like a multimeter for timing analysis. These software probes can be positioned anywhere within virtualised workflows, allowing operators to track latency and lip-sync across multiple stages of production with unprecedented granularity.

The company has also recently formed a partnership with Grass Valley through the AMPP Alliance, with Hitomi enabling engineers to measure latency on either side of any process within the AMPP environment.

While traditional MatchBox hardware continues to be fully supported, the software solutions extend the timing measurement capabilities into new environments. This could include measuring video latency in medical applications, aligning multiple screens at large-scale events, and timing conference system presentations.
