Hitomi returns as Bronze sponsor of SVG Europe
Hitomi, which specialises in streamlining the lineup process of lip synchronisation, latency coherence and channel identification, has renewed its Bronze sponsorship of SVG Europe.
The company is particularly known for its MatchBox lip sync and latency measurement solutions, including the MatchBox Analyser and the MatchBox Glass app, designed to provide a quick and accurate method to measure timing differences and to allow them to be rectified.
One of the most powerful features of the MatchBox system is its ability to synchronise any number of cameras, regardless of their location. Whether coordinating a multi-camera setup in a single venue or aligning feeds from cameras spread across different continents, MatchBox ensures perfect timing. This global capability is particularly valuable for international sports events, music festivals with multiple stages, or news broadcasts with correspondents in various locations.
Recent innovations include a new ST 2110 integration in the MatchBox product range, making it easier for broadcasters to transition to IP-based workflows. Existing MatchBox customers can update their hardware to support ST 2110 by adding the ST 2110 module to spare slots in their xFrame. This modular approach means that both SDI and ST 2110 interfaces can co-exist within the same xFrame, which can accommodate up to four MatchBox modules.
