Iceland’s RUV implements ChyronHego BlueNet for election coverage

Elsewhere in the broadcast industry, ChyronHego – an SVG Europe Gold Sponsor – has revealed that Icelandic national broadcaster RUV implemented ChyronHego’s end-to-end BlueNet graphics workflow solution for coverage of the Parliamentary Election that took place on 27 April.

Broadcasting live from RUV headquarters at Efstaleiti 1 in Reykjavik, production staff relied exclusively on ChyronHego’s LEX³˙¹ and MicroX³˙¹ on-air graphics systems to drive real-time Lyric-generated bar graphs, pie charts, and up-to-the-minute ticker information throughout the 12-hour broadcast. In addition, RUV leveraged ChyronHego’s iPad app, Shotbox for Lyric, to push interactive graphics to air direct from an iPad.
