IMG’s David Shield, Aspera’s Arnd Kohrs confirmed for SportTech UK

Further star speakers have been added to the line-up for this year’s SVG Europe-organised SportTech UK event, which will take place at Stamford Bridge on 24 April. Designed to provide a unique business conference and networking experience for those involved in television sports production, SportTech UK 2013 will incorporate a variety of keynote addresses, panel discussions and prestigious case studies.

New panellists confirming their involvement in recent days include David Shield, IMG Media global director of engineering and technology, who will participate in ‘Sport UK Update: The State of the Industry and a Summer of Sport’. Later in the day, he will also offer a sneak preview of IMG Media’s new facility.

RedHanded TV managing director Sam Usher will be among those answering the question ‘The Second Screen Experience: Good for Business?’, while Aspera senior sales engineer Arnd Kohrs, EVS product manager Laurent Petit and Adobe Systems Europe’s Matthew Gyves are set to examine ‘File and IT-Based Workflows and Live Sport Production’.
