Israel Volleyball Association partners with Pixellot for live AI-powered broadcasts and highlights
The Israel Volleyball Association (IVA) has formed a strategic partnership with AI-automated sports video and data technology provider Pixellot.
The collaboration is the fourth sports federation in Israel to adopt Pixellot’s live coverage solutions, further strengthening Pixellot’s presence in the Israeli sports market.
Under the new partnership, Pixellot will provide live coverage for the top two volleyball leagues in Israel—both men’s and women’s.
The broadcasts and highlights will be available via a new OTT platform developed by Pixellot, tailored for the Israel Volleyball Association. The new service will include an IVA-branded mobile app, live and on demand games, game recaps, and special viewing features, along with live editing and tagging capabilities, allowing volleyball fans to cut their own highlights and engage with the sport in new ways.
The Israel Volleyball Association oversees all professional and amateur volleyball leagues in Israel, with the top men’s and women’s leagues featuring 22 teams in total. This partnership will enable volleyball fans in Israel and internationally to follow their favourite teams and watch all matches and highlights live and on-demand on any screen or device.
Zohar Bar-Netzer, CEO of the Israel Volleyball Association, said: “We are excited to collaborate with Pixellot to enhance our leagues by bringing our sport closer to fans and delivering high-quality, engaging content to volleyball enthusiasts across the country and around the world. Pixellot’s technology represents a significant step forward in our mission to grow the sport and provide greater visibility for our athletes and teams, aligning with our strategic plan to improve professionalism and increase participation.”
Alon Werber, Pixellot’s chief executive added: “Our partnership with the Israel Volleyball Association reflects our vision of empowering sports federations with tools to grow and engage more fans by offering affordable coverage for competitions that previously could not broadcast their games. We are pleased to help the IVA elevate both men’s and women’s leagues to a new level of visibility, creating a unified, high-quality broadcast experience for fans, players, and sponsors alike.”
The partnership continues Pixellot’s broader strategy to lead the automated sports production market. To date, four major Israeli sports federations, including the Israeli Football Association, Israel Basketball Association, and the Israel Handball Association, have partnered with Pixellot to advance their coverage cost-effectively and generate new revenue sources.
This collaboration with the Israel Volleyball Association reinforces Pixellot’s leadership in offering high-quality, affordable live sports broadcasts across various sports in over 80 countries worldwide, including football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, handball, baseball, hockey, and more.
