ITN Productions has appointed sports media specialist Tim Godfrey as Partnerships Director within the Sports Production business as ITN Productions consolidates its position in the sector. Godfrey joins ITN Productions from his role as Head of Media at Formula E where he was responsible for media strategy across rights, content creation, broadcast and distribution and has extensive experience across both traditional and emerging media platforms.

He was previously at Perform Group, where he was responsible for newsgathering and product development for the global sports news service OMNISPORT. Prior to Perform Group, Godfrey held senior positions at Endemol Sport, and ITN-produced Setanta Sports.

ITN Productions has a three-year, multi-million pound deal with the English Football League to film, edit and produce Sky Bet Championship, Sky Bet League 1, Sky Bet League 2, Capital One Cup and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy matches — a total of 1,813 games per season across Football League and Premier League grounds.
