Job of the Week: Sales Director, Western Africa, Intelsat

A world-leading market presence, Intelsat enables providers of media, telecom and government services to deliver information and entertainment to people at home, in the office, or on the move. On a day-to-day basis, Intelsat supplies video, data and voice connectivity in approximately 200 countries and territories for around 1,800 customers – many of which the company has had relationships with for more than 30 years.

Now Intelsat is seeking a full-time sales director whose objectives will be the identification, development and management of new and ongoing business opportunities in Western Africa. The successful candidate will also manage complex/strategic opportunities – both new and existing – for commercial satellite and NST services in this region.

Responsibilities will include sales management of customers with various levels of revenue opportunities and development of new customer relationships in the territory. The position will be based in Sandton, South Africa, and candidates must have authorisation to work in the country.
