LaLigaTV channel added to Premier Player OTT service in UK and Ireland

The 24/7 English-language channel LaLigaTV has been made available in the UK and Ireland via Premier Player, the OTT service operated by Premier Sports.

As first revealed on 10 September, the strategic tie-up between Spain’s top flight and Premier will see all LaLiga games streamed live in HD. Subscriptions are being offered on a monthly or annual basis.

As well as live matches, LaLigaTV includes the daily studio shows LaLiga World, VIVA LaLiga and The LaLiga Show.

Also as part of the deal, Premier Sports will continue to broadcast one live LaLiga match per round via its free-to-air channel FreeSports, starting with this Sunday’s Deportivo Alavés vs. RC Celta de Vigo fixture.

A weekly LaLiga highlights programme will also be made available.

LaLigaTV will also launch on Sky as part of the Premier Sports package in the coming months.
