Lawo, which delivers innovative solutions for live media production workflows, has renewed its Gold SVG Europe sponsorship.
The company’s modular, cloud-native systems combine workflow orchestration, physical and virtual I/O, signal processing, and intuitive control interfaces, enabling integration across broadcast, radio, performing arts, houses of worship, and corporate AV. It is particularly known for its scalable mc² mixing console range with extensive integration options, alongside the Home Platform and Home Apps ecosystem delivering both audio and video processing.
The Lawo Home Apps platform offers a wide range of audio and video processing tools – including audio shuffling and mixing, multiviewing, format conversion, colour correction, downstream keying, essence delay, and stream transcoding.
Lawo’s audio consoles continue to be a common site in OB trucks across the globe. Earlier this year, the Women’s Winter Classics in Gstaad marked the first live outing for güet’s S12 truck, which boasts a fully IP-based Lawo audio infrastructure.
At the core of the audio control room is a Lawo mc²56 MkIII console with 48 faders, paired with a redundant A__UHD Core and an AoIP environment based on SMPTE ST 2110, AES67 and RAVENNA.
In 2025, Aret and Lawo unveiled a new demo OB truck that features samples of next-generation Lawo IP technology.
Lawo’s IP-native audio and control systems form the technical backbone of the vehicle. The audio control room is centred around a 64-fader mc²56 audio production console. The console is driven by redundant A__UHD Core engines, each offering 1,024 fully processed DSP channels, ultra-low latency, and full support for immersive audio workflows such as Dolby Atmos, making the system future-ready for evolving production demands.
