Leader goes for Gold SVG Europe sponsorship

Test and measurement innovator Leader Electronics of Europe has renewed its Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe.

The company’s product range includes 3G/HD/SD SDI waveform monitors and rasterisers, all with customisable layouts. Among the available options are 8K, 4K-UHD, CIE chroma chart, HDR measurement, test pattern generation, eye and jitter measurement, closed-caption display, IP, and 12G/6G-SDI. Leader has helped many customers manage their transition from analogue to digital, from SD to HD, from HD to 4K/UHD, from SDR to HDR, and from BT.709 to BT.2020 wide chroma gamut. The company also provides SMPTE ST 2022-7 and ST 2110 support for the transition from SDI to IP.

Earlier this year, BBright purchased the LV7600W rasteriser from Leader to support its IP validation processes. Part of the Zen-W Series, the LV7600W is a ‘true-hybrid’ rasteriser compatible with 4K/HD/SD-SDI and UHDTV/HD/SD IP signals. Featuring a fully customisable screen layout, the solution’s waveform, vector, picture, audio and eye pattern displays enable simple yet comprehensive measurements and quality control of the widest range of video and audio formats.

In addition, outside broadcast provider TVN Live Production acquired multiple Leader and Phabrix T&M units for its latest outside broadcast truck, TVN-OB8. The setup includes seven Leader LV5600 waveform monitors, which are compatible with SDI and IP signals, and two Phabrix QxP portable waveform monitors, which are 25G ST 2110 and 12G-SDI capable and are used to enable all measurements outside the truck.
