Scott Willsallen

Scott Willsallen, Auditoria Pty Ltd

Before and after the creation of his design and management services company Auditoria Pty Ltd in 2004, Scott Willsallen has been involved in audio design and direction projects for some of the world’s most important sports events. At SVG Europe’s Sports Venue Technology Summit at ISE on 11 February, Willsallen will discuss some key episodes from his distinguished career, as well as the changing expectations of in-stadium audio.

Having begun his career as a professional musician, Scott Willsallen soon became interested in audio and its contribution to the audience experience. After completing a Masters of Design Science in Audio Design, Willsallen established Auditoria Pty Ltd in 2004 to provide design and management services in technical production for both live performance and fixed installation.

Projects over the last decade have encompassed sporting venues, performing arts facilities, educational facilities and houses of worship, as well as involvement in stadium events including multiple Summer Olympic, Winter Olympic, Commonwealth and Regional Games.

Willsallen will discuss his career with RH Consulting founder/principal Roland Hemming as part of a packed half-day programme that will also include examinations of a day in the life of a modern stadium, the whys and wherefores of temporary overlay, and the steps being taken to enhance fan engagement with sports.
