Leading consultant Roland Hemming to discuss standards and stadium sound at Sports Venue & Fan Engagement Summit

RH Consulting founder Roland Hemming will talk BS 7827 at SVFE 2018

In addition to moderating a panel on IP-based infrastructures at sports venues, leading consultant Roland Hemming will also participate in a closing 1-2-1 conversation with SVG Europe Editor David Davies at the Sports Venue & Fan Engagement Summit, which takes place on 8 February during ISE 2018.

A leading audio consultant and project manager, Roland Hemming’s extensive experience covers almost every aspect of live audio. He was the audio manager, working for the client, managing the two largest audio projects in the world: the Millennium Dome and the 2012 Olympic Games. He is the founder of RH Consulting and continues to work on major venue and event audio projects around the world.

During his 1-2-1 conversation at Sports Venue & Fan Engagement Summit, Hemming will discuss his involvement with the current revision of the BS 7827 standard, which provides a cost of practice for designing, specifying, maintaining and operating emergency sound systems at sports venues. He will also touch upon a separate programme of work that entails the production of a new code of practice regarding counter-terrorism and sports/entertainment venues.

Hemming will also discuss some specific current projects for RH Consulting, including audio upgrades at Derby County Football Club in the UK, and at Amsterdam Arena in the Netherlands.
