Limitless Broadcast has launched a new programme to find the next generation of technical assistants. Launchpad is a paid 12-month programme that will immerse participants in the fast-paced world of live broadcasting, delivering hands-on experience across broadcast engineering, cameras, vision, audio, warehouse operations, remote production and live sporting events.
Over 12 months, participants will become a member of the Limitless team in Woking, UK, taking on responsibility while learning from experienced engineers and helping deliver some of the UK’s biggest live sports productions. The programme will cover every area of technical operation, building an understanding of how modern live broadcasts are planned, engineered and delivered. As it progresses, participants will be able to spend more time within a technical discipline that suits their strengths and interests – whether that’s cameras, vision, audio or another engineering specialism.
Successful candidates will be offered permanent positions at the end of the programme.
“I firmly believe that the future of our industry starts with creating opportunities for the next generation to learn, grow and advance,” said Claire Wilkie, founder and CEO, Limitless Broadcast. “I’m delighted to see this initiative come to life.”
