Lise Cosimi announced as general manager of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee

The Comité National Olympique et Sportif Français has announced that Lise Cosimi has been appointed as general manager.

Cosimi, chair of SVG Europe Women and member of the SVG Europe Advisory Board, has joined the French National Olympic and Sports Committee to take a lead role in its move towards the 2024 Olympics which will take place in France.

Alongside the management team and all employees of the committee, Cosimi will be working on the programme and management of actionables for Paris 2024.

Commenting on her new position, Cosimi told SVG Europe: “I am sincerely honoured to have been chosen to lead the the French National Olympic Committee, especially in preparation for the 2024 Olympic Games in France.

“I am delighted to be able to share my knowledge of international sporting events and using a digital and multimedia sensitivity, I will put it at the service of my teams.”

A graduate of ESSEC Business School and the Multi Media Institute, Cosimi has worked for decades in international sports organisations, including HBS. She has been part of multiple major world sporting events over the course of her career.

Cosimi was most recently an independent industry consultant. She was one of 52 applicants for the role.
